40 Days of Prayer

January 4 – February 12, 2026

As we step into 2026, we’re not just making resolutions—we’re starting a revival of prayer. From Sunday, January 4 through Thursday, February 12, we’re committing to forty days of seeking God daily… on our own, and together as a church family.

Each Sunday’s worship and message will focus on a different understanding and way to pray—how to begin, how to listen, how to stay faithful when heaven feels quiet, and how to trust God’s “no” just as much as His “yes.”

And yes—prayer can feel awkward at first. (Kind of like trying to unlock your phone with your face when you just woke up. Not pretty, but it still works.) But prayer isn’t about perfection—it’s about connection.

These forty days also prepare us for what comes next: Ash Wednesday, the journey of Lent, and the season of preparing our hearts for Easter and the Resurrection. Before we walk with Jesus to the cross, we walk with Him in prayer.

Prayer doesn’t just change things—prayer changes us, and If you talk to God about everything, you’ll start seeing God in everything.

So grab your Bible, your coffee, and maybe even

your questions—because when we talk to God, He starts talking to everything else.

Let’s begin 2026 the right way: on our knees and on mission.

Ash Wednesday

February 18

Princeville United Methodist Church

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent—a season of reflection and renewal as we walk with Jesus toward the cross and the hope of Easter.

Join us for one of two simple worship opportunities:

Noon Service | 12:00 Noon –1:00 PM

A come-and-go service with prayer and communion.

OR

Evening Service | 6:00 PM

A traditional service with communion and the imposition of ashes.

Ash Wednesday also begins our Lenten sermon series,

“Unexpected Questions”

a journey of faith where we slow down, reflect honestly, and listen for God’s presence along the way.

Come as you are. Begin the journey.

“Unexpected Questions”
A Lenten Sermon Series

Lent is a season for reflection—and for asking honest questions. In the sermon series: “Unexpected Questions,” beginning Sunday, February 22, and continuing through Palm Sunday, March 29, we’ll explore faith-stretching questions that invite us into a deeper relationship with God.

These are the questions many of us already carry— about trust, hope, and what it really means to follow Jesus. Lent isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about being willing to ask, listen, and grow as we walk together toward the cross.

Bring your curiosity as we explore these unexpected questions along the road to the cross together. We’d love to walk this Lenten season with you.

Senior Valentine's lunch

You’re Invited to a Valentine’s Lunch!

As Scripture reminds us, “Love each other deeply.” (1 Peter 4:8)
